Before I became a wedding planner in Ottawa, I always had a soft spot for stories and all things romantic. As a young girl, I would spend my days poring over the pages of Anne of Green Gables or tinkering with my grandmother's teacups. My happy place was always outside in nature, where my imagination could run free. Eventually these passions led me to pursue an education in English literature and journalism, cultivating the idea that a good story is fresh, riveting and one of a kind — an approach I bring to each and every one of my weddings.

As fate would have it, my first job out of university was planning a high-profile airshow for a local museum in Ottawa. The experience was exhilarating and opened my eyes to a whole new career path — one where I could be a part of something big and exciting. I developed a passion for being front and centre of the action, and I later went on to produce award galas, conferences and social events. It was my love of romance and beauty that led me to wedding planning and I've happily never looked back.
